Multibond SMX35 – Seal & Stretch (Waterproof)
Multibond SMX35 is a high quality, single component, permanently flexible joint sealant. Perfect for internal & external applications. Based on SMX® Polymer Multibond SMX35 has a “Shore A” hardness of 35 and can accommodate movement of ± 20 %. Multibond SMX35 has excellent UV resistance, elasticity and can be sanded and painted with most types of paint. Once cured forms a strong, flexible, waterproof seal and bonds to the widest range of substrates. Multibond SMX35 can be used for damp and wet surfaces.

When should I choose SMX35 over SMX25?
Choose SMX35 when you need a faster skinning time and a more versatile “all-round” sealant. If you are dealing with very wide vertical joints that require high slump resistance, Multibond SMX25 is the better choice.
How does it perform with paint?
SMX35 is fully paintable with water-based paints once cured. Like the rest of the range, it is free of solvents and isocyanates, so it will not bleed or stain your finish.
Is it as strong as SMX50?
SMX35 provides excellent adhesion, but Multibond SMX50 is the higher-strength option designed specifically for structural bonding.
