Multibond SMX50 – Seal & Stick (Trafficable)
Multibond SMX50 is a high quality, fast curing, single component flexible adhesive and sealant with high adhesive strength. Perfect for internal & external applications. Based on SMX® Polymer Multibond SMX50 has a “Shore A” hardness of 40 ideal for trafficable joints and can accommodate movement of ± 20%. Multibond SMX50 has excellent UV resistance, elasticity and can be sanded and painted with most types of paint. Once cured forms a strong, flexible, waterproof seal and bonds to the widest range of substrates see below. Multibond SMX50 can be used for damp and wet surfaces.

When should I use SMX50 instead of SMX35?
Use SMX50 when you require high bond strength or a trafficable finish. If you only need a general-purpose sealant for light joints or waterproofing prep, Multibond SMX35 is the lighter, more flexible alternative.
Can I paint over SMX50?
Yes. SMX50 is fully paintable once cured. It contains no solvents, so it will not cause paint bubbling or staining over time.
How much faster does it cure?
SMX50 is formulated to cure up to 30% faster than standard polymer sealants. This significantly reduces downtime on projects that require a fast turnaround.
